ASP.NET Technology
DRS web-based applications are built using
ASP.NET web development
tools that enable us to provide our clients with powerful, secure, dynamic
and high performance solutions both in client server versions and web-
based SaaS deployments.
Microsoft .NET Framework
DRS uses Microsoft .NET programming language allowing us to develop DRS applications that are robust and run efficiently. Managed code in Microsoft .NET Framework is “acceptable” to the security requirements of new versions of the Windows operating systems.
Microsoft SQL
DRS utilizes MS SQL Server as the database repository. This technology provides scalability and allows for robust data processing of important information in both the data capture process and back end client query capabilities.
SQL Reporting Services
The built-in business intelligence component of MS SQL Server, SQL Reporting Services provides quick reporting of data via “canned reports” or on the fly report building. The data is easily exportable to common formats like Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) and MS Excel.
Microsoft SQL 2008
Reporting Services (SSRS) provides a full range of ready-to-use tools and services to help you create, deploy, and manage reports for your organization, as well as programming features that enable you to extend and customize your reporting functionality.

Data Manager
DRS’ automated job scheduler management system ensures that multiple types of processes are completed
around the clock with consistent results. Email notification provides DRS and client personnel with the best means of keeping up to date if the event call for report creation or any other scheduled process fails.
E-Capture
Patented Capture Applications (PharmaSync 5.0/DataView)
Using the latest development tools and resources, DRS’ capture applications are state of the art and include both paper and electronic methods. Capable of functioning on or offline, DRS applications are built on HTML5 making them optimized for most OS platforms -- including Apple, Android, Symbian, Microsoft Windows and Blackberry – and for deployment on any capacitive tablet, mobile device, laptop or desktop PC.
With over 25 years’ experience, DRS has developed a long track record of success enabling clients to access current and legacy disparate data sources. DRS quickly and cost effectively integrates client- and third-party data making the complete database -- historical and current – immediately available for internal audits and reviews all within a single DRS application – DRS Web ImagView.

“Off the Shelf’ Apps
DRS builds component logic into its products so
they can be used in any number of situations in our specific client configurations. This option-driven configuration actually turns what we call “off the shelf” into customizable products. In short, we build all options into every product and then turn on options as needed. This allows for quick deployment of mature applications with minimal coding requirements because the applications only need to be configured to clients business logic. This also helps us to minimize the impact on our software testing and validation efforts thus deployment times are reduced.
DRS can quickly integrate both client and 3rd party data, and has vast experience and success providing access to current
and legacy disparate data
sources. The complete hist-
orical and current data is then available for use in a single DRS application, client backend systems (CRM).
Security / Encryption
DRS utilizes internet hosting services provided by Qwest® CyberCenter™, an ISO 9000 facility offering
24/7 opera-tion within a secure environ-ment. We provide unlimited redundancy and full business continuity. Specifically de-signed to provide state-of-the-art hosting for mission-critical Web sites and enter-prise applications. |

HTML5
HTML5 introduced a storage
mechanism called Global
Storage. In short, it is a
memory space given by the
browser that websites can
use to store persistent data
that doesn't need to be sent
to the server.
HTML5 persistent storage is
of two forms:
• Persistent variables expressed as key value pairs
• Structured data for storage
of PharmaSync database - SQLite1
Using HTML5 allows PharmaSync to take advantage of client-side storage. Client-side storage
(PharmaSync configuration) is
divided into 3 methodologies:
• Session storage
• Local storage
• Database storage
HTML5 is the next standard
for website design and development; the de facto
language that all browsers
will use to render those websites; and the enabler of
next generation great online
applications. With its early adoption of HTML5 technology, DRS developed
software is accessible from any device -- smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop PC
– and run on any operating system platform. The move to
HTML5, the next iteration of the ubiquitous HTML standard, has allowed DRS to
build PharmaSync 5.0, the next iteration of its own ubiquitous e-signature tool,
PharmaSync. |
